"Did you feel supported through your ups and downs in the process?"
Nancy: And I remember the biggest thing for you was getting you to sleep. I mean, that was just a massive thing. Your tummy issues kind of resolved really early on, and that was kind of miraculous for you.
Trisha: Yeah. Right after the diet, definitely. That was a big thing.
Nancy: Yeah, the diet. It took a bit, you know, to kind of shift gears. You know, you had to throw stuff out in your kitchen and you had to shop differently.
Trisha: Oh, yeah, that was definitely a change. I was surprised as to how many things I was sensitive to, but it all kind of came back and made sense.
Nancy: Yeah. And then, like, when did you start kind of going, “I think I got it now. I think I really get this.” And this is like this huge shift. And now, I mean the last time I saw you, Trish, it was hilarious. You were like, “Yeah, I’m not going back. This is it for me. I don’t care if people make fun of me. I don’t care if my family thinks I’m like a kook. I’m not going back.” And that was kind of really great to hear. But somewhere along that process, you kind of really got a hold of it, you know?
Trisha: I want to say probably after I did the Candida cleanse, probably like that month following. It just got easier. It was almost like I didn’t have to really think about anything because I had already done the hardest part of it. And then so the diet followed after that—it just kind of worked.
Nancy: Three to four months in, I would say. Right?
Trisha: Yeah, just about. I would say probably, maybe like the four-month mark would be about it.
"How long did it take for your health conditions to feel manageable and then resolve?"
Nancy: How long do you think it took you total for? You’re all of a sudden sleeping through the night, and your mind is feeling better, and your tummy is great, and your energy is great. How long do you think that took?
Trisha: I think after probably six, seven months in. Because I was just in such a bad spot with my sleeping. So that was a tough one for me. But once I started sleeping, I became a brand new person.
Nancy: Yeah. Yeah. It was remarkable to see. I mean, even kind of all of our assessment tools really started showing how much energy you were starting to have available to you. It was pretty great watching it.
Trisha: Yeah, I loved that.
Nancy: Yeah. It is remarkable to watch people change. But you really, really, really shifted gears. It was like, whoa. Who is that person?
Trisha: Honestly, I didn’t think I would ever sleep again. But it was possible.
