Chapter 32: Trisha’s Overall Experience
Welcome to Chapter 32 of the Blog Series Journeys to Health!
In this chapter, Trisha reflects on the importance of consistent follow-up appointments with Nancy. Despite initial improvements in her health, Trisha values the ongoing guidance and support that Nancy provides. This chapter highlights the significance of regular check-ins, seasonal health management, and the broader impact of holistic care.
"Do you continue care with Nancy and why?"
Nancy: And you do continue with me. Sometimes I go, actually, I don’t think you need me.
Trisha: Oh, yes I do!
Nancy: But what’s your number one reason for continuing your follow-up appointments? I mean, how do they help you? I mean, I guess you could just disengage and go along. But what is it that really helps you when you come in for regular tune-ups?
Trisha: I like that you keep me on track. I feel like you definitely keep me on the straight and narrow and doing things that I’m supposed to be doing. And then more like obviously seeing you the last couple times my leg and everything. That was. That was a huge thing as well. So yeah, I need you!
Nancy: Oh, well I’m here for you! Yeah, it’s interesting because a lot of people will come in for one reason or a couple of reasons. And then the continuing care is like seasonal issues. Right. So, you know, winter season comes and then, you know, I get the text, “Nan, I think we’re getting sick in the house. What do you got?” You know? Right.
Trisha: The remedies that you told me to keep in my cabinet this week, they’ve come in handy, because Colton did come down with a cold, and by Tuesday, yesterday, he was totally fine.
Nancy: He’s fine, right?
Trisha: It was amazing. It was unbelievable, the switch in him.
Nancy: Yep. Same in the springtime. You know, springtime hits, and then it’s like, oh, the pollen comes, and it’s like, “Nan What do you got?”
Trisha: Yep, it’s so true. You have something for everything.
"If you had one thing to share about your experience working with Nancy to those seeking wellness, what would that be?"
Trisha: I would definitely say don’t doubt it. Jump right in and try your hardest because I think, in the end, it’s going to benefit you and make a world of difference.
Nancy: That’s gorgeous. Thanks. People need that encouragement, right? Especially when they don’t know what it is.
Trisha: It is a little scary because some things—I mean, we’re not used to most of this. We’re used to the regular medical doctor telling us what to do and what to take. But I think once you get to the bottom of things, holistic health is really where it’s at.
