Introducing the “Herb of the Month” Blog Series

Welcome to the blog series Herb of the Month!

This week, we will be introducing a new blog series to our website called “Herb of the Month“. People have been studying and using herbs for medicinal purposes for thousands of years. Because of this, learning about herbs can foster a sense of connectedness to our ancestors, to the Earth, and to our local communities.

Nancy has a very deep love and respect for medicinal herbs and natural remedies. Therefore, she is extremely excited for the opportunity to introduce her favorite herbs to you each month! If you’re not familiar with clinical herbalism, you might be thinking, “why is she so excited?” However, you might just be curious as to what herbs can do for you or where you could find them.

It’s possible that you may be using some of these herbs already – or even have them growing in your yard. Join us each month as we explore the history, personality, clinical application, and more of Nancy’s favorite plants. Get a snippet of the properties and practical uses of these herbs and how they supported the health of our ancestors as well as how they can support us in our present day. You can text HERB to (978) 953-5424 read the latest herb of the month blog post right on your phone.
